Abi's plays include Foreign C., Voices Underwater, fEaR oF a FüHrEr, Lucy Dies in Fives, and PRESERVATION (A BIRD MUTATION). Her work has been produced in the U.S., Germany, Russia, and Thailand by companies and festivals such as Synchronicity Performance Group, the Ontological-Hysteric Incubator, Serendipity Theatre, Salvage Vanguard Theater, Refraction Arts Project, A Traveling Jewish Theatre, Theaterhaus Hildesheim, and at the Bay Area Playwrights Festival. She has received two Jerome Fellowships from the Playwrights' Center in Minneapolis, Best of Fest in Fronterafest, a Fulbright Fellowship, and an Alexander von Humboldt German Chancellor Fellowship. She holds a BA from Brown University and an MFA in Playwriting from UT Austin. She was recently a guest professor at the University of Hildesheim.www.abibasch.com
